Answer to summons

Assuming you signed for the papers you received, that is all you have to do. But it might not be all you should do. If you do not plan to contest the divorce at all, and do not respond to the court, the terms and conditions of the divorce agreement will be written 100% in favor of your spouse. You don't have to respond, but you will have zero say in the situation if you do not. If you have specific expectations about how the divorce will be handled, you might want to respond. If you are unsure, you might want to at least schedule an initial consultation with an attorney to determine your best course of action.
