    i have a friend in fla whose trying to get divorced from her husband hes very abusive mentally and physically in the past she has an apartment she can move into next week but hes told her if she leaves hell kill her and her kids he also has several felonies pending from a few months ago is there any suggestions on what she can do she is so scared to leave, but knows she cant keep livong like this

    Unfortunately, the situation you describe sounds far beyond the scope of a divorce. Physical abuse and death threats are illegal and should be reported to local law enforcement. Your friend could obtain a Restraining Order preventing her husband from contacting her or the kids, and perhaps that would give her enough time to complete a divorce safely.
