Since you have few assets and did not have children together, your divorce is likely to go quickly and smoothly. If you and your spouse are able to agree on how to divide the few assets that you have, obtaining a divorce should not be costly. However, you might want to consider contacting an attorney to make sure that you will not be burdened with any debts that your spouse has incurred.
